Registered the name today.

Mogacho.

It had been sitting with us for a while. Felt right early on, but we kept circling it. Saying it out loud. Letting it settle.

It carries more than one meaning. In Konkani, it points somewhere close to the heart meaning love and passion or when referring to someone as your loved one or simply “of love”.

At the same time, it folds into itself — moga (meaning love) and chocolate, compressed into one word.

Didn’t want something that sounded imported. Or overly constructed.
This felt like it belonged here.
Hard to explain why certain names stick and others don’t. This one did.

It’s ours now. Or should I say, amgele Mogacho.
